Quantum cloaking of a hard sphere by introducing it a potential coating
Abstract
This paper considers the quantum cloaking of a hard sphere. The hard sphere is cloaked by means of a thin positive potential coating in which its strength is comparable but less than the energy of the incident particle. It is shown that the introduced coating reduces the scattering cross-section of the sphere for small kb, where k is the wave-number of the incident projectile and b is the radius of the sphere.
