Silicon nanowires with silver nanoparticles as surface-enhanced Raman scattering substrates
Abstract
The need to detect minute amounts of chemicals leads us to develop reproducible and robust substrates that enhance the weak Raman signals from these analytes. Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) substrates were fabricated using silicon nanowires (SiNW) with silver nanoparticles (AgNP). We demonstrate the capability of the fabricated SERS substrate by taking the Raman spectra of different concentrations of rhodamine 6G.
