Phase encoding limitation of spatial light modulator

Abstract

We present an analysis in the effects of the phase encoding limits of the spatial light modulator (SLM). We show that the range of values that the SLM can encode and the quantization of phase introduce errors from the Bessel beam output of an axicon phase.
