Finite-temperature Green’s function approach to kondo impurity scattering
Abstract
The linear spin wave theory is applied to the Kondo impurity interaction. The hole and spin wave finite-temperature Green’s functions are calculated. It is shown that the inapplicability of Wick’s theorem to the impurity spin operators leads to an unfactorable contribution from disconnected Feynman diagrams and vacuum polarization diagrams.
