Precise reconstruction distance in digital holography using focus quantifiers

Abstract

A technique for precise determination of the reconstruction distance in digi- tal holography using focus quantifiers is demonstrated experimentally. The technique is applied to both holographic phase maps and amplitude maps. The technique offers precise quantitative wavefront analysis with an axial resolution of 100 λ (λ: 632.8 nm).
