Quantum free fall motion
Abstract
In this work, we consider the time of arrival distribution of a spinless quantum particle moving in a uniform gravitational field using the theory of confined time of arrival operator. The results show that the time of arrival distribution depends on the mass and the initial position variance of the wave packet which signify violation of the weak equivalence principle in the quantum regime.
