Effect of source aperture in three-dimensional light modulation
Abstract
We present the effect aperture design in light modulation setup. For thev experiment we tested different apertures that excludes, includes and trun cates the bandwidth of our target patterns. We compute the diffraction efficiency, ε for each aperture and we found a decrease in efficiency of more than ∆ε = 0.2% if we truncate the bandwidth. Moreover, we are not able to reconstruct the pattern with an aperture that excludes the bandwidth.
