Abstract

We describe the emergence of synchronization in repressilators that are coupled through a quorum sensing mechanism for conditions in which one or more coupling parameters are suppressed. We find that synchronization may still occur, even at a lower population density, when the degradation rate ks0 is suppressed. Oscillation death was also observed for ks0=0, Q=1.
