Abstract

We develop a robust and parallelizable multigrid solver based on the smoothing and solving capabilities of the Chebyshev-Jacobi method — an optimal variant of the "scheduled relaxation Jacobi" method. With this, we solve a multitude of Bratu-like equations on 2D grids up to a resolution of 212×212.
