Abstract

This study aims to serve as groundwork for future research in modeling light beams, applications in beam imaging, and signal analysis. To accomplish this, we present interpretations and visualizations of the Husimi function for the zero-order and the superimposed zero-order Bessel beams. The Husimi functions for both systems are interpreted in light of the wave optical picture and signal analysis. We also provide graphs in phase space to emphasize the advantage of phase space formalism in quantum mechanics as applied to signal analysis and wave optics.
