Abstract

This study extends a qubit-based technique known as Quantum Gate-Assisted Teleportation (QGTP) to three-level systems under an Amplitude Damping Channel (ADC) for a V-type system. We observe a tradeoff between obtaining high fidelity and the probability of implementing QGTP successfully. Furthermore, we demonstrate that qutrit QGTP maintains superior average teleportation fidelity compared to the Standard Teleportation Protocol (STP) across the noise spectrum, converging only when the noise strength is unity.
