Linfoot-based analysis of misalignment effects in dual-SLM Bessel beam generation
Abstract
We simulate Bessel beam generation using two transmissive SLMs with split 2π phase encoding. Beam fidelity, quantified via Linfoot’s metrics, drops with sub-pixel misalignments. Offsets below 0.2 pixels (≈ 2.3 μm) retain over 95% fidelity, establishing a practical tolerance for aligning dual-SLM structured light systems.
