Symbol spaces using group frames in Hilbert space

Abstract

We will consider generalized coherent states on discrete quantum systems that are obtained using elementary harmonic analysis on finite groups. We will use these to represent quantum states and quantum observables as phase space functions or symbols in two distinct, but related, ways.
