Abstract

Pentaquark-like signals, named as Pcc̅(4312)+ states, are recent experimental discoveries that challenge the conventional quark model. Their interpretation, particularly that of the Pcc̅(4312)+, is an ongoing problem in hadron spectroscopy. Due to its proximity to the ΣcD̅ threshold, a hadronic molecule is a natural assumption, rather than a compact multiquark state. In this paper, we utilize the coupled-channel S-matrix formalism to analyze the scattering amplitudes of the J/Ψ and ΣcD̅ channels. By fitting the model to the LHCb experimental data, we explore both bound and virtual state interpretations of Pcc̅(4312)+. Our results support past consensus in the literature regarding the virtual ΣcD̅ nature of this signal.
