Effect of aperture division to light reconstruction measured via modulation transfer function
Abstract
We evaluate the effect of aperture division on reconstruction quality by measuring the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF). Our results show that for circular sources, decreasing the radius results to a low-pass filtering in the reconstruction, where high frequencies have lower modularity values. However, for annular sources, some annulus with higher radius have higher modularity values for high frequency targets than low-frequency targets.
