The scientific collaboration network of the College of Science, University of the Philippines Diliman
Abstract
We analyze the scientific collaboration network of the College of Science (CS), University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) from 1985−2023. It has a high clustering coefficient of 0.843 and an average shortest path length of 4.99. New nodes connect smaller components to the largest or join the largest directly, and the network exhibits properties of both Barabási-Albert (BA) and Watts-Strogatz (WS) models.
