Abstract

This paper presents the conducted investigation of the masses of the supersymmetric particles stau (τ̃) and neutralino (x̃₁⁰). We used MadGraph in generating proton-proton collision going to stau pair with different set of masses for stau and neutralino at √s = 13 TeV. After the latest, most relevant ATLAS analysis was incorporated into CheckMATE, bounds were given to the masses of stau and neutralino. It was found out that existing analyses within CheckMATE were not sensitive enough in giving bounds to the mass pair of stau and neutralino while the newer analysis had an even stronger exclusion potential. Stau masses ranging from 180−270 GeV with neutralino masses ranging from at least 1−50 GeV were excluded in the new analysis.
