Bessel beam profiles via radial and linear polarizer systems

Abstract

We report laser beam shaping via alternating radial and linear polarizer systems. Expression for the modified transverse intensity profile was derived through matrix calculation. Simulation shows the generation of vortex beam of order l =1. New shapes of the Bessel beam were also revealed.
