Harmonic analysis on finite groups and discrete quantum systems

Abstract

Frame quantization of finite quantum systems will be implemented using the main objects of the harmonic analysis of finite nonabelian groups, that of the unitary irreducible representations of the groups and their irreducible characters. Frame quantization extends the well-known coherent state quantization of Glauber-Klauder-Schrödinger-Sudarshan to discrete systems. A Weyl-Wigner-Moyal formalism is implemented from such frame quantization.
