Modulation transfer function of a scanning hyperspectral imager
Abstract
This work studies how exposure time, capture interval and platform scanning speed affects the contrast and modulation transfer function (MTF) of a push-broom imaging spectrometer. A numerical imaging model and proof-of-principle setup are presented. Consistent results between simulations and experiments would allow us to optimize designs of future airborne or spaceborne pushbroom payloads.
