One-dimensional system of gravitationally-bound sheets with finite interaction range
Abstract
In this paper we explore the time evolution of a system of very large sheets of mass with infinite and finite range of interaction and assuming no collisions. The introduction of a cut-off to the range of interaction between the sheets causes several sheets to 'escape' from the system, a behavior not displayed by the system when the range of interaction is infinite.
