New identities involving Kummer and Gauss hypergeometric functions arising from finite part integration
Abstract
By performing finite part integration of the generalized Stieltjes integral representation of the Kummer and Gauss hypergeometric functions, we were able to obtain their exact representations from which we derive special cases that are not tabulated in the literature and are not reproducible by symbolic computation on leading computer algebra systems such as Mathematica and Maple.
