Entanglement in a Fermi gas in a three-site optical lattice
Abstract
Entanglement among particles of a Fermi gas trapped in a three-site optical lattice exposed to a fermionic environment is measured through linear entropy. We find that the entanglement reaches a maximum value, which signifies full entanglement, for open and closed lattices. For long times, entanglement approaches a nonzero value for closed lattices, signifying the maintenance of some degree of entanglement.
