Genetic diversity in a Penna model
Abstract
We considered genetic diversity within the framework of the Penna model. Using the entropy of genetic diversity as measure, we found genetic diversity to increase with reproductive age R, for the case where the threshold parameter T is less than R. In addition, we found the saturation population to decrease with increasing genetic diversity.
