The Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas (SPP) considers its congress proceedings, a collection of peer-reviewed research papers, as one of its most significant contributions to the scientific community. The accepted appers have passed through careful scrutiny and reflect the state of the art in various areas in pure and applied physics. In this year's congress, the paper distribution is as follows: 138 submissions, 94% accepted; 36% poster, 64% oral; Complex Systems: 15%, Condensed Matter and Materials Science: 26%, Instrumentation, Imaging, and Signal Processing: 10%, Optics and Photonics: 18%, Health Physics, Plasma Physics, and Physics Education: 6%, Theoretical and Computational Physics: 25%. The SPP Editorial Board is composed of published researchers whose main tasks are to establish and maintain guidelines for reviewing, accepting, and classifying papers submitted to the congress. This year, there are 20 editors who specialize in the various subdisciplines of physics. The eidtors maintain the high quality of the scienrific papers, treat the author and reviewers fairly during the editorial process, and ensure that the manuscripts are reviewed properly and in a timely manner. The SPP Pool of Reviewers is comprised of scientists and engineers who are experts in their various technical fields. For each submitted manuscript, a reviewer provides anonymous review based on the manuscript's novelty, significance, and clarity of presentation. There are 51 reviewers this year, the majority of whom have reviewed more than one submitted manuscript.
