Abstract

The goal of this paper is to describe the spatial distribution of particles that are kicked at random intervals where the the waiting time between the kicks is described by a Poisson renewal process. The moments are obtained. From the moments approximations for the probability distribution function are obtained for two systems–a semi-infinite system and a circular system.
