Information bias and the central limit theorem
Abstract
We investigate the movement of a population of n travelers to a fixed destination as we vary the number of considered recommendations and the threshold for considering a recommendation to be positive. We found that biased information from multiple sources results in a movement rate guided by the Central Limit Theorem.
