Volume holographic storage of Bessel beam arrays
Abstract
Adjacent multiple Bessel beams are simultaneously generated from annular slits and recorded volume-holographically in a photorefractive LiNbO3 crystal. The holographic images of the Bessel beams are examined for properties such as self-reconstruction of the central maxima from half blocked profiles and nondiffraction until 50 cm. The varying interference patterns of multiple Bessel beams are also observed.
