Abstract

A model of an evaporating black hole, with a time dependent mass, is considered in this paper. By analyzing the Einstein tensor for this metric in an orthonormal frame, we prove that the weak, dominant and strong energy conditions are violated. We show that the spacetime is non-empty but the source cannot be purely electromagnetic or a massless scalar fiIeld.
