Abstract

A charged Brownian particle is placed in a uniform electric field. The dissipative force is a function of a fractional memory kernel of the particle, and the noise experienced by the particle is dependent on the dissipative memory kernel. It is found that if the electric field is sinusoidal, the average speed of the particle over time decays.
