Simulations on the feasibility of a cellular phone-based survey
Abstract
An alternative to Face-to-Face Survey Methodology using cellular phones was developed. The new method biases the respondents according to their income. Simulations results showed that the method was feasible, with error within the accepted 3%. Linear discriminant analysis also predicted the opinion of non-cell phone users with accuracy of 78.6%.
