Arbitrary intensity landscapes via the generalized phase contrast method: Performance benchmarks
Abstract
The generalized phase contrast method (GPC) is a versatile tool for generating arbitrary intensity landscapes. This paper benchmarks GPC's performance relative to computer-generated holograms in terms of efficiency, resolution, noise, computational load, and device requirements.
