Abstract

Gold nanoparticles are essential for the development of contacts in nanotechnology devices. In this paper, we will report the initial results on the successful growth of Au nanoparticles on undoped Si-substrate. A correlation between the surface morphology and its electrical properties obtained using conductive atomic force microscopy (CAFM) will also be presented.
