W boson pair production in ep scattering

Abstract

The production of W boson pair in electron-proton (ep) scattering is investigated. The appropriate partonic production cross sections are obtained analytically. The transverse momentum and rapidity distributions of the production cross section under DESY HERA condition are presented. To lowest order, the production cross section is dominated by direct photon contribution.
