Abstract

We investigate on the possibility of describing the Phiippine Peso as a mechanical system conserving total energy. Assuming unit mass, the kinetic energy was obtained using the first derivative of price. The potential energy, on the other hand, was calculated as the negative of the work done by the force obtained in terms of the second derivative of price.
