Abstract

Optical signatures of virus and fungi infected tobacco (Nicotania tabacum L.) was characterized. It was found out that spectroscopic method done on tobacco mosaic virus infected tobacco leaf showed no significant difference with respect to healthy leaf. However, frog-eye leaf spot infected leaves showed very pronounced difference on the 1000 nm range.
