Simulation of local weather over Metro Manila

Abstract

The dependence of mesoscale weather disturbances on the prevailing wind is studied with an atmospheric model. The study is done by integrating the model equations for different prevailing winds. The results of the integration indicate that the weather is highly sensitive to the prevailing wind.
