Born series solution of the time kernel equation and quantum mechanical derivation of the anharmonic oscillator classical time of arrival
Abstract
This paper discusses the formal solution of the time kernel equation for arbitrary continuous potentials using the Born series. We apply the results to the quartic potential, and recover from the formal solution the classical time of arrival.
