Abstract

This study aims to explore the fractal nature of the Current-Voltage (I-V) graph of ZnO and Zn(1−x−y)BixTiyO. Different samples were fired at different temperature and their fractal dimensions were obtained from the log I and log V plots. Results show that the I-V plot of Zn(1−x−y)BixTiyO obeys a power law behavior, thus have a fractal nature. They have fractal dimension greater than 1. Also, the fractal dimensions of undoped ZnO samples are 1 suggesting that they are ohmic.
