Chlorophyll­-doped silicone as a new fluorescent material

Abstract

Deformable fluorescent hemispheres were prepared using chlorophyll extracted from carabao grass as dopant. Quenching effects of dopant concentration were investigated. Potential use of this novel material as a continuously variable display component is demonstrated.
