Abstract

An experiment is designed to observe the motion of an object relative to stationary and moving references. In this workshop, participants will measure the relative velocity of one body with respect to another using video analysis and an ultrasonic motion detector set-up. This will be done for motion of objects in one dimension. There will be a short demonstration on observing relative motion in two dimension using video analysis.
