Abstract

A program that simulates Fraunhofer circular aperture diffraction was developed using C programming language with the help of OpenGLTM. The program outputs the diffraction pattern on the screen. It also outputs the graph of normalized intensity of light as a function of radial distance from the center of the diffraction screen. A surface normalized intensity mesh plot can be also given by the program.
