The use of lahar carbon paste electrode in the voltammetric determination of cadmium(II) and mercury(II)
Abstract
Lahar modified carbon paste electrode was used in the voltammetric determination of Cd2+ and Hg2+. Optimization of experimental parameters was carried out using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV). The constructed electrode proved effective in the analysis of samples containing 100 ppm of Cd2+ and Hg2+.
