Growth of superconducting Bi-2212 films by sedimentation deposition and melt texturing method under various temperature profiles
Abstract
We report the fabrication of Bi-2212 films using a sedimentation deposition via an acetone-powder suspension and a partial melting-recrystallization method using different temperature profiles. The films produced were highly c-axis oriented with c-axis lengths of 30.679 Ã…, 30.738 Ã… and 30.323 Ã…. The films have generally smooth surface morphology and superconducting transition temperature at ~83 K, ~71 K and ~77 K.
