Abstract

Operation of a low threshold power 355 nm pumped hydrogen Raman shifter with capillary waveguide (CWG) is demonstrated. A 60% reduction in the threshold power and higher conversion efficiency is achieved. Five (5) Raman lines with wavelengths ranging from 273.8 nm − 635.9 nm are generated for a Raman shifter with CWG. Temporal profile of the Raman laser lines is also investigated.
