Abstract

Temperature and depth in a mud pot, specifically Mudspring, was determined by the use of an LM335 absolute temperature sensor. A probe was constructed and this was used to be able to come up with the two trials in observing three different spots in the mud pot found in Mount Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna. It was then observed and concluded that the temperature of the mud pot is linearly related to the depth with linearity coefficient of 0.9598. As the depth increases the temperature also increases.
