Abstract

Manila commercial electric power voltages were measured by microcomputer based laboratory apparatus every 2 minutes for weeks at a time. In a typical workweek, daytime voltage was about 220 V. Night time voltage was about 250 V. In unusual situations, power was out for 12 hours during a typhoon. On a Tuesday morning at 10:30 am voltage sagged to 186 V. At 1:20 am on a Monday morning voltage peaked at 273 V.
