Abstract

The paper derives an equation for the angular velocity as a function of the applied voltage difference of an Ionic Motor (IM), where a variable voltage difference and a constant magnetic field is applied on a ionic solution. Using the Muriel-Dresden microscopic theory of turbulence, we predict the angular velocity and the corresponding voltage difference at which the IM will be turbulent.
