Microstructural analysis of superconducting MgB2 prepared at different sintering temperature
Abstract
Microstructural analysis of single grain MgB2 prepared under varying sintering temperature using Scanning Electron Microscopy observed an increase in grain size and grain connectivity as evidenced by increase in neck size and decrease in angular contacts as sintering temperature increases. Presence of granular defect such as open pore was also observed.
