Hysteretic behavior in a defective lattice network of non-hysteretic agents with continuous responses
Abstract
We study the role ofdefect size distributions in a hysteretic lattice network of individually non-hysteretic agents. The linear hysteretic loss against defective area exhibited by power-law distributed defect sizes is markedly different from the higher-order polynomial curves of the uniformly, and Gaussian distributed defect sizes.
